Muthesius uses the chain saw to penetrate deeper into the symbol of our values. Cuts having a separating effect furrow the wood by force. They join together and finally release the core of the whole. It strikes a blow when the core breaks and falls to the ground. Meanwhile, the saw continues unperturbed to eat its way through our seemingly democratically secure constitutional rights, which are meant for every human being, all over the world. Again and again another block falls. Sculptural remains point up into the sky.
